IDF: Drug smuggling thwarted at the Egyptian border
Jerusalem, February 2 (Hibya) - The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that drug smuggling had been thwarted at the Egyptian border.
In a statement, the IDF reported that its forces had prevented drug smuggling at the Egyptian border.
According to the statement, in the early hours of the morning, in the Har Harif area within the Paran Brigade sector, an unmanned aerial vehicle attempting to smuggle drugs from Egyptian territory into Israel was detected.
"IDF soldiers operating in the area prevented the smuggling and seized approximately 60 kilograms of drugs. The seized narcotics were handed over to the Israel Police for further investigation."
