IDF says it killed Hamas commander
Jerusalem, September 4 (Hibya) – The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and Israel’s domestic security agency Shin Bet announced that Mohammed Mahmoud Marshad al-Qadi, a commander in a Nukhba unit affiliated with Hamas’s military wing, was killed in a strike in the Khan Younis area of the southern Gaza Strip.
In a statement, the Israeli military alleged that al-Qadi led the raid on the Sufa military base during the October 7 attacks and played a role in the holding of hostages by Hamas.
The statement said the strike was carried out two days ago in the Khan Younis area and that al-Qadi, who served in Hamas’s military wing, was targeted and killed.
