IDF urges Gazans in parts of Rafah to evacuate
Stockholm, March 31 (Hibya) – The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) issued an evacuation warning for Palestinians living in certain areas of Rafah in southern Gaza, stating that the army "has returned with great force to fight and dismantle the capabilities of terrorist organizations in these areas."
Colonel Avichay Adraee, the IDF's Arabic spokesperson, posted a map of the evacuation zone on X, calling on Gazans to relocate to the al-Mawasi area on the southern coast of the Gaza Strip.
On Saturday, the IDF announced that it had expanded its operations in southern Gaza, and that troops were advancing toward Rafah as part of efforts to widen a buffer zone along the Strip’s borders and eliminate terrorist infrastructure.
