Iranian FM Araghchi sends letter to IAEA Director General
Tehran, June 13 (Hibya) – Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi sent a letter to International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Rafael Grossi following Israel’s military attacks on various sites in Iran, including the Natanz nuclear facility.
Araghchi called for a clear condemnation of Israel’s aggression against Iran’s nuclear facilities.
In the letter, he emphasized that Iran has decided to take special measures to protect its nuclear equipment and materials, and stated that Israel’s acts of aggression will be met with a firm response.
He also urged the Director General to urgently convene a meeting of the IAEA Board of Governors to address the situation.
