Irish Foreign Minister Harris chaired Government Trade Forum
Dublin, April 4 (Hibya) – Irish Minister for Foreign Affairs, Trade, and Defence and Deputy Prime Minister Simon Harris chaired a special Government Trade Forum following the US tariff announcements.
Harris said he was working day and night to guide the country through the major turbulence caused by the tariffs.
He noted that he chaired the forum this week, which focused on protecting Ireland’s trade interests, particularly in the pharmaceutical sector.
Harris stated that ideas and information were shared among government departments, state agencies, and business representatives, saying: “We will get through this process together – with calm, confidence, and unity.”
