The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) issued a statement regarding operations in southern Lebanon.

The statement said that paratrooper units were operating in the area under the command of the 98th Division, noting that “weapons depots were identified and dozens of individuals were neutralized during operations targeting sites in southern Lebanon.”

The IDF stated that the forces had established operational control in the area and that the attacks were ongoing, adding: “Operations are continuing to strengthen the defense line and eliminate the threat to northern settlements.”

The statement also said: “Large quantities of weapons, ammunition, and explosives were seized.”
