The statement said that in the face of overwhelming and indisputable evidence, even the IPC was forced to acknowledge that there is no famine in Gaza.

However, it was claimed that the IPC report had once again been deliberately distorted and does not reflect the real situation in the Gaza Strip. The statement continued:

“The report ignores the very large volume of humanitarian aid entering the Gaza Strip, as it is primarily based on data related to UN trucks, which account for only 20 percent of total aid trucks. The IPC also disregards the fact that an average of 600 to 800 aid trucks enter the Gaza Strip daily, 70 percent of which carry food. This amount is nearly five times the level that the IPC itself considers necessary for Gaza.”

The statement added: “Indeed, just last week, the U.S. Civil-Military Coordination Center (CMCC) reported that more than 30,000 aid trucks have entered the Gaza Strip since the start of its operations. However, these facts are not included in the IPC report.”
