Lahbib: Over 80 tons of medical supplies delivered to El Arish
Brussels, December 19 (Hibya) – The European Union announced that more than 80 tons of medical supplies sent for the World Health Organization to the occupied Palestinian territories via the EU Humanitarian Air Bridge have been delivered to Egypt’s city of El Arish.
EU Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management Hadja Lahbib said that more than 80 tons of medical supplies sent for the WHO to the occupied Palestinian territories have been delivered to El Arish through the EU Humanitarian Air Bridge.
Noting that despite more than two months having passed since the ceasefire, one in every two hospitals in Gaza is facing shortages of basic medical equipment and supplies, Lahbib said: “Together with our partners, we continue to stand by people in urgent need.”
