Canadian Prime Minister Carney stated that Canada’s fast-growing clean technology sector has generated thousands of high-paying jobs, especially in the area of methane emissions reduction.
Carney explained that new measures aimed at lowering emissions could not only reduce pollution but also help create approximately 35,000 new jobs in this field by 2040.
