Orban: The EU must be fundamentally restructured
Budapest, December 19 (Hibya) – Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said that the European Union (EU) must be fundamentally restructured, otherwise it risks disintegration.
Hungarian Prime Minister Orban stated that the EU must undergo a fundamental restructuring, otherwise it will face the risk of disintegration.
Orban said, “While bureaucrats in Brussels are increasingly taking control, this system was established to serve sovereign member states and their peoples — not the other way around.”
Noting that the EU will continue to weaken from within unless change takes place, Orban said the time has come for a union that serves nations, respects sovereignty and places citizens at the center of everything.
