Israeli airstrikes in southern Lebanon cause widespread destruction
Beirut, March 27 (Hibya) - As Israeli Air Force airstrikes across southern Lebanon intensify, overnight bombardments have caused extensive destruction and mass displacement in civilian areas.
According to CCTV, many villages and towns in coastal and inland areas of southern Lebanon came under intense fire immediately after urgent evacuation orders were issued by the Israeli army.
The attacks paralyzed the region’s energy and communication infrastructure; rising columns of smoke and soot-covered streets revealed the scale of the devastation.
A local resident, Gihane Abbas, said that shortly after receiving evacuation messages on their phones while they were asleep, aircraft struck the area within minutes, cutting off all supply routes.
