The Israeli army condemned an attack carried out by Israelis against diplomatic representatives in the Taybeh area of the West Bank.

In a statement, the army said police and forensic teams in the Shin Bet area would arrive at the scene with security support from the Israeli military to begin collecting evidence and taking witness statements.

According to preliminary findings, no Israeli military units were present at the scene during the attack. The statement also noted that the diplomatic delegation's visit had not been coordinated with the army in advance. It emphasized the importance of coordination in preventing similar incidents.

The statement further noted that the report concerning the attack had been submitted only to the brigade operations center, which accepts operational reports exclusively from security personnel and does not handle reports from civilians. It added that other designated contact points are available for civilian reports.
