Israeli Defense Minister Gallant met with U.S. delegation
Jerusalem, 21 October (Hibya) - Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant met with leaders of the U.S. House Appropriations Committee and members of Congress.
Gallant said he was honored to host the leaders of the House Appropriations Committee and members of Congress at the MOD Headquarters.
Gallant recalled the initiation of the Palestinian Islamic Movement's attack on October 7 and said: "Israel is still defending its citizens on seven different fronts and is fighting to secure the return of 101 hostages."
Gallant added: "We discussed the importance of ongoing U.S. support and the critical cooperation between our countries that will ensure Israel's defensive posture and the defeat of our common enemies led by Iran."
