The statement said the individual was stopped by Israeli passengers, while the Indian pilot and crew members from the United Arab Emirates also intervened to ensure the safety of the aircraft.
In its statement on the incident, the ministry said: “Israelis, Emiratis and Indians stand together against terrorism. This is the future of our region and the world.”
