Israel’s Foreign Ministry issued a statement as part of the International Day of Remembrance of and Tribute to the Victims of Terrorism.

The ministry said that across generations, Palestinian terrorist attacks had left lasting scars on Israeli families and communities, emphasizing that the memory of those who lost their lives due to terrorism continues to be preserved.

The ministry’s statement said terrorist attacks had left behind empty places at family tables, loved ones remembered with longing, and lives permanently changed.

Israel’s Foreign Ministry said more than 300 terrorist attacks had been recorded over the past two years and that around 15,000 bereaved family members in Israel continue to live with the loss caused by terrorism and hostile acts.

The statement said those who lost their lives in terrorist attacks are being remembered today, while support was also expressed for survivors of the attacks and families who lost loved ones.

Israel’s Foreign Ministry emphasized that the memories of those who lost their lives due to terrorism continue to be kept alive by their families and society, saying: “They are remembered. They are missed. They will not be forgotten.”
