Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Israeli President Isaac Herzog said that “the memory of the fallen is a sacred trust”, stressing that remembrance is not only about the past but also carries responsibility for the future.

In his speech at the first National Remembrance Conference organized by the Ministry of Defense – Families, Commemoration and Heritage Division, Herzog emphasized the need to keep alive the memory of those killed in wars and attacks.

“Preserving memory, not normalizing it, and not allowing it to be forgotten is a duty,” Herzog said, adding that bereaved families stress the importance of remembrance and resisting normalization and forgetfulness. He noted that every form of commemoration serves as a reminder to be worthy of those who died, and pledged to remember each and every one of them forever. He concluded that the memory of all men and women who fell in Israel’s wars and victims of hostile acts should remain preserved in hearts, souls and collective memory forever.
