Jessika Roswall elected as Sweden's EU Commissioner
Stockholm, November 27 (Hibya) - Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson announced that Jessika Roswall will assume the role of Sweden's EU Commissioner.
Swedish Prime Minister Kristersson reminded that the European Parliament has approved the new European Commission and said, "For Sweden, this means Jessika Roswall will begin her duties on Sunday as Sweden's EU Commissioner. It is very gratifying that Sweden has such a competent and EU-experienced commissioner, and I fully support Jessika in her new role."
Kristersson thanked the current EU Commissioner Ylva Johansson for her efforts, stating, "Ylva has done an excellent job as Sweden's EU Commissioner, particularly in implementing the migration and asylum agreement."
