Kallas: Operation Aspides ensures the safety of ships in the Red Sea
Brussels, October 20 (Hibya) - European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas described the Houthis' actions against civilians in Yemen and Saudi Arabia as terrorist tactics, highlighting the importance of Operation Aspides in the Red Sea.
European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas stated that the Houthis were using terrorist tactics aimed at instilling fear among civilians in Yemen and Saudi Arabia.
Kallas emphasized that Operation Aspides, conducted in the Red Sea, plays an important role in protecting maritime shipping against Houthi threats.
Noting that hundreds of vessels had been escorted to safe areas as part of the operation, Kallas stressed that its importance and the demand for its services were steadily increasing.
