Kallas: Russia is escalating the war
Brussels, June 10 (Hibya) – EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice President of the European Commission, Kaja Kallas, stated that Russia is escalating the war, and that they are increasing pressure to make it stop.
Kallas announced that for the first time, the EU hosted the EU–India Strategic Dialogue.
She said this was a major step in the partnership, addressing issues such as maritime security and space, and paving the way for deeper defense cooperation.
Stating that Russia is escalating the war, Kallas said they increased pressure accordingly. She added that the new sanctions proposals aim to reduce Russia’s energy revenues with a $45 oil price cap, to ban more shadow ships, and to slow down its military industry.
