Kallas: Russia must now respond on equal terms
Brussels, 13 March (Hibya) - The European Union's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice President of the European Commission, Kaja Kallas, announced during the G7 Meeting that support for defending Ukraine’s territorial integrity has been reaffirmed.
Kaja Kallas, the EU’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, stated that at the G7 meeting in Canada, leaders once again reaffirmed their support for Ukraine’s territorial integrity.
Praising Ukraine’s commitment to the ceasefire, Kallas said: "Russia must now respond on equal terms. Otherwise, we may impose further sanctions and restrictions on oil prices."
Additionally, Kallas noted that the meeting expressed support for the Syrian people and strongly condemned the escalating violence in coastal areas, stating: "We demanded the rejection of terrorism, the protection of civilians, and accountability for the perpetrators of atrocities."
