Israeli Defense Minister Katz said in a statement: “Any leader appointed by the Iranian terrorist regime to continue the program of destroying Israel, threatening the United States of America (USA), the free world and the countries of the region, and keeping the Iranian people under pressure will be an open target. It does not matter what his name is or where he is hiding.”

Katz stated that together with the Prime Minister they had instructed the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) to take all necessary measures to neutralize targets within the framework of Operation “Shaagat Ha’ari”.

Katz also emphasized that operations would continue decisively, saying: “Together with our American partners, we will continue to weaken the regime’s capabilities and create the conditions for the overthrow and change of the regime for the Iranian people.”
