Kos: Decisive weeks and months lie ahead for the Western Balkans
Berlin, October 22 (Hibya) - European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos stated that the coming period will be decisive for the European Union accession processes in the Western Balkans, elections in Serbia and the rule of law in Kosovo.
European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos stated that the Western Balkans will face critical decisions in the coming weeks and months.
Kos noted that Montenegro's completion of its European Union (EU) accession process, Albania's continued progress toward membership and the elections scheduled to take place in Serbia over the weekend will be decisive for the region. She also stated that Kosovo faces an important choice regarding the rule of law and international justice.
Kos drew attention to the importance of the timing of meetings with regional leaders, making her remarks ahead of the Berlin Process Leaders' Summit.
