Describing the meeting as "excellent," Kristersson said that the strategic partnership between Sweden and Canada continues to expand rapidly.
The statement highlighted that defense projects, particularly Canada's procurement of the GlobalEye airborne surveillance system, strengthen the shared security of the two countries while also contributing economically to their defense industries and supporting employment.
The GlobalEye system is known as an advanced airborne surveillance platform developed by the Swedish defense and aerospace company Saab.
Kristersson emphasized that both countries aim to further deepen their cooperation, adding that the defense and technology partnership between Sweden and Canada will continue.
