According to a statement by Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah arrived in Islamabad for official engagements at the invitation of Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar.

The visiting minister, Al-Sabah, was welcomed at Islamabad International Airport by Zahid Hussain, Additional Secretary for Middle East Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During the high-level meetings scheduled as part of the visit, the two sides are expected to discuss bilateral relations in all their dimensions and exchange views on regional and global issues of mutual interest.
