Lahbib: Accessibility is among our top priorities
Brussels, 6 December (Hibya) – European Union (EU) Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management Hadja Lahbib said that one in five people in the European Union lives with a disability.
Commissioner Lahbib stated that one in five people in the EU lives with a disability, emphasizing that accessibility is among their highest priorities.
Lahbib said, “I congratulate Zaragoza as this year’s winner, which has exemplarily demonstrated how accessibility can be integrated into all aspects of urban life.”
