Lahbib: EU mobilized emergency funds for Myanmar earthquake
Brussels, March 31 (Hibya) – European Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management, Hadja Lahbib, made a statement regarding the earthquake in Myanmar.
Hadja Lahbib announced that just a few hours after the earthquake in Myanmar, the European Union mobilized its emergency funds to support those affected.
Lahbib said: “Tents, tarpaulins, health kits, medical and hygiene supplies are being prepared from our ReliefEU warehouse in cooperation with @UNICEF.”
