Lahbib: Humanitarian aid saves millions of lives
Brussels, December 10 (Hibya) – EU Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management Hadja Lahbib highlighted the importance of humanitarian aid at the Humanitarian Supply Chains Conference.
Commissioner Lahbib stated that humanitarian aid saves millions of lives.
She noted that at the Conference she emphasized the strategic role of supply chains in delivering aid, adding: “The EU recently provided 5 million euros to strengthen them and make them fit for today’s unpredictable world, and plans to provide an additional 10 million euros next year.”
