Lahbib: Multilateralism and commitment to international law are more important than ever
Brussels, May 21 (Hibya) – European Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management Hadja Lahbib spoke at the 3rd EU-Africa Ministerial Meeting hosted by Belgium.
In her speech, Lahbib emphasized that Africa and the European Union are key partners in the areas of peace, security, and sustainable development.
Opening the session on multilateralism, Lahbib said: “Africa and the European Union are key partners for peace, security, and sustainable growth.” She also stressed that at a time when multilateralism and international law are under global threat, commitment to these values is more vital than ever.
