Lammy: The United Kingdom stands with Ukraine
Gdansk, June 27 (Hibya) – UK Deputy Prime Minister David Lammy said he met with partners from across Europe in Gdansk to reaffirm support for Ukraine.
UK Deputy Prime Minister David Lammy spoke about the meeting with partners from across Europe and his contacts with Ukrainian families.
Highlighting the humanitarian impact of the war, Lammy said, “Meeting Ukrainian families who have been forced to leave their homes was a powerful reminder of the human cost of Russia’s illegal war.”
Clearly reaffirming his country's position, Lammy added, “Their courage demands action. The United Kingdom stands with Ukraine.”
