New York, October 18 (Hibya) – UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini said that unchecked information is being used to discredit UNRWA and its staff.
UNRWA Commissioner-General Lazzarini stated once again that unchecked information is being used to discredit UNRWA and its staff.
Lazzarini noted that reports are circulating in social and Israeli media that a UNRWA staff member was killed in Gaza alongside the head of the Palestinian Islamic Movement.
"I confirm that the staff member in question is alive. He is currently living in Egypt, having crossed the Rafah border with his family in April. It is time to end disinformation campaigns."
