In China, the total logistics volume increased by 4.9% in the first 10 months of the year compared to the same period last year, reaching 278.3 trillion yuan. The China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing released data on logistics operations from January to October today.

According to the data, the total logistics volume increased by 0.3 points in October compared to September, reaching a growth rate of 5.1%. Due to the recent development in the logistics sector, the growth rate of logistics volume increased on a monthly basis.

The logistics volume in the equipment manufacturing sector increased by 6.2% in October compared to the previous year. The growth rate increased by 0.7 points compared to the previous month and has been on the rise for three consecutive months. The growth rate of logistics demand in the food and beverage sector exceeded 17% in October compared to September, and online retail sales of physical goods grew by 8.4% in the first 10 months of the year.
