Paris, April 8 (Hibya) – French President Emmanuel Macron stated that he welcomes the ceasefire between the United States and Iran, emphasizing their determination to restore freedom of navigation and reduce tensions in the region.
French President Emmanuel Macron spoke about diplomatic objectives and regional security following the ceasefire announcement in the Middle East.
Describing the announcement as a positive step, Macron said: "The announcement of this ceasefire is a very good thing."
Emphasizing that they have been working to reduce tensions from the very beginning, Macron stated: "From day one, we have had the same objective: to protect our citizens and our interests, to stand by our regional partners, and to work to reduce tensions in order to restore peace and freedom of navigation."
