Macron visits South Korea
Seoul, April 2 (Hibya) - French President Emmanuel Macron paid tribute to Korean War veterans during his visit to South Korea and emphasized shared values between the two countries.
President Macron’s visit to South Korea began with a visit to the Korean War Memorial in Seoul. Macron paid tribute to the veterans who took part in the Korean War and honored their courage and sacrifice for freedom.
During the visit, Macron met with South Korean President Lee Jae-myung, reinforcing trust and cooperation between the two countries. The president stated, “History, culture, shared values, and the bonds between the younger generations of our two countries are an important sign of our friendship in an increasingly uncertain world.”
