Macron: We support efforts to prevent Iraq from being drawn into the conflict

During the conversation, Macron expressed France’s full solidarity with Iraq in the face of rising tensions in the Near East and the Middle East, saying: “I reiterated my support for Iraq’s determined efforts to prevent it from being drawn into the conflict.”
Emphasizing that Iraq’s stability is of critical importance for the entire region, Macron said: “France supports full respect for Iraq’s sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity.”
