Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received a written message from Maldives President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu concerning relations between the two countries.

According to a statement by Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the message was delivered during a meeting between Hassan Zareer, Maldives’ Minister of Finance and Public Enterprises and Special Envoy of the President, who was visiting Qatar, and Qatar Foreign Ministry Secretary-General Dr. Ahmed bin Hassan Al Hammadi.

The statement said the message addressed bilateral relations between Qatar and the Maldives and ways to support and further develop them.
