Meloni: We are confirming our European leadership in the PNRR
Rome, December 30 (Hibya) – Italy has received the 8th installment under the PNRR from the European Commission and has also applied for the 9th installment. Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni emphasized that the plan will continue to be implemented successfully.
Italy received the 8th installment under the PNRR from the European Commission, amounting to €12.8 billion.
Commenting on this step, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni said: “We are confirming our European leadership in the PNRR.”
Meloni noted that with the 8th installment, total allocations reached €153.2 billion, well above the European average of 60% and corresponding to 79% of the total.
Stating that they plan to complete the 10th and final part of the European plan, Meloni said: “We will continue with determination to turn this plan into concrete results for citizens, businesses, the economy, and the country’s international standing.”
