Metsola: EU–US trade agreement approved by the European Parliament
Brussels, 16 June (Hibya) - European Parliament President Roberta Metsola announced that the European Union (EU)–United States (US) trade agreement has been adopted, saying the transatlantic partnership has been strengthened.
European Parliament President Metsola announced that the Parliament has approved the EU–US trade agreement.
Metsola said the agreement provides predictability and clarity for businesses, workers, consumers, and investors, noting the successful completion of the process.
She also stated that the agreement is not only a trade deal but also an investment in the future of the EU–US partnership.
Metsola thanked the European Parliament team and Bernd Lange who led the process.
