Miliband: Global community will not remain silent for peace
New York, September 23 (Hibya) - UK Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband said that, as part of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly, steps aimed at ensuring access to humanitarian aid in Gaza, supporting recovery and advocating for a two-state solution were discussed.
UK Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband made a statement regarding the meeting held on Gaza as part of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.
Miliband said that Andy Burnham, French President Emmanuel Macron, Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney and Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan brought countries together to discuss practical steps to improve humanitarian aid access to Gaza, support recovery and advocate for a two-state solution.
Miliband said, “The global community will not remain silent for peace and an end to this conflict.”
