Palestinian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Varsen Aghabekian Shahin met with German Representative in Ramallah Anke Schleim.

During the meeting, Shahin briefed Schleim on the current situation in Palestine and the challenges it faces. Expressing appreciation for Germany's support for Palestine, Shahin also reviewed political and on-the-ground efforts to establish the necessary conditions for holding the upcoming Palestinian elections.

Schleim stated that Germany would continue supporting Palestine in various fields and reiterated her country's position against Israeli settlements and settler violence. The two sides also discussed developing bilateral relations, strengthening joint cooperation and maintaining communication and coordination between the two countries.
