Minister Shahin met with his Kuwaiti counterpart Al-Yahya
Cairo, September 4 (Hibya) – Palestinian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Farsin Agabekyan Shahin met with Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya on the sidelines of the Arab League Council’s ministerial-level meeting.
According to a statement from the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Minister Dr. Farsin Agabekyan Shahin met with Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya during the Arab League Council’s ministerial meeting.
The statement noted that Minister Shahin addressed the challenges facing Palestinian diplomacy, chief among them the U.S. decision to prevent the State of Palestine’s delegation, headed by President Mahmoud Abbas, from obtaining visas to attend the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
The statement added: “The Kuwaiti Foreign Minister expressed his pride in the deep relations and ties uniting the peoples of Kuwait and Palestine, stressing that humanity and the global conscience are undergoing a difficult test in the face of the horrific crimes committed against the Palestinian people.”
