Mixed performance in crypto market as Bitcoin rises while altcoins face selling pressure
Istanbul, July 24 (Hibya) – Bitcoin continued to rise and outperformed the broader cryptocurrency market, while Ethereum, Solana and Dogecoin posted limited losses. XRP traded flat.
Cryptocurrency markets showed a mixed performance on the final trading day of the week. Bitcoin, the world's largest cryptocurrency by market value, gained ground, while most leading altcoins recorded limited pullbacks.
Bitcoin (BTC) rose 0.76 percent to $65,233.01, delivering the strongest performance among major cryptocurrencies.
Ethereum (ETH), the second-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, declined 0.10 percent to $1,872.97.
Solana (SOL) fell 0.03 percent to trade at $75.56, while Dogecoin (DOGE) lost 0.33 percent and declined to $0.0689.
Meanwhile, XRP traded flat at $1.11, remaining close to its previous closing level.
Bitcoin's positive divergence despite limited selling pressure in altcoins indicated that investor risk appetite remained selective, while a cautious outlook continued to prevail across the market.
