Istanbul, August 17 (Hibya) - Asian markets showed a mixed performance during the week's trading day.
Asian markets showed a mixed performance during the week's trading day. Stock markets in Hong Kong, China and Japan recorded gains, while markets in Australia and India declined.
In Hong Kong, the Hang Seng Index (HSI) rose 1.61 percent to trade at 25,521.99 points, while China's Shanghai Composite index gained 0.84 percent to reach 3,960.188 points.
In Japan, the Nikkei 225 index rose 0.28 percent to 68,903.04 points. In Australia, the ASX 200 index fell 0.35 percent to 9,083.70 points.
In India, the NIFTY 50 index lost 0.28 percent and ended the day at 24,296.85 points.
