During the meeting held in Skopje between North Macedonia’s Foreign Minister Mucunski and Belgium’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Prevot, the strong bilateral relations between the two countries were reaffirmed, and satisfaction was expressed with Belgium’s constructive and principled support for North Macedonia’s European Union integration process.

The parties emphasized their determination to deepen cooperation in the fields of economic growth, trade and investment, and to accelerate the reform process.

They also exchanged views on the need for more courageous and strategic decisions in the face of current challenges to the European security architecture.
