Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Images captured on April 6 by independent satellite providers Maxar Technologies and Planet Labs show the ship under construction in the water at the Nampo shipyard on North Korea’s western coast, about 60 kilometers southwest of Pyongyang.

Analysts say the images reveal ongoing installation of weapons and other internal systems; the ship is likely a guided missile frigate (FFG) designed to carry missiles in vertical launch tubes for striking targets on land and at sea.

In an analysis by Joseph Bermudez Jr. and Jennifer Jun of the Center for Strategic and International Studies, it is stated: “The FFG is approximately 140 meters (459 feet) long, making it the largest warship ever built in North Korea.”

By comparison, the U.S. Navy’s Arleigh Burke-class destroyers are about 154 meters long, and the in-construction Constellation-class frigates will be 151 meters long.

The Kim regime is rapidly modernizing its armed forces, developing a range of new weapons, and testing intercontinental ballistic missiles capable of reaching nearly every part of the United States.
