Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

An international warrant has been issued for Rinson Jose, who went missing during a business trip to the United States last week.

Rinson Jose, 39, the founder of a Bulgarian company that allegedly was part of the pager supply chain, went missing during a business trip to the United States last week.

"Yesterday, the Oslo police district received a missing person report in connection with the pager case. A missing persons case was opened, and we issued an international search warrant for the person," Oslo police said on Thursday.

Jose refused to comment on the pagers when contacted by reporters on September 18 and hung up after being asked about the Bulgarian connection. He later did not answer multiple calls and messages.

Rinson said Jose, who works in sales at his employer, Norwegian media company DN Media Group, left for a conference in Boston on September 17 and has not been contacted by the company since the following day.

According to Bulgaria’s company registry, Jose founded Norta Global Ltd, headquartered in the capital, Sofia, in 2022.

Bulgarian authorities have investigated the company’s role in supplying the pagers but have found no evidence that they were made in Bulgaria or exported from Bulgaria.

Norwegian broadcaster NRK reported that Jose was a Norwegian citizen and was born in another country.

The unprecedented pager attacks attributed to Israel killed 12 people, including two children, and injured up to 2,800.

The following day, 25 people were killed, and more than 450 were injured when radios exploded in markets, funerals and on the streets of Lebanon.
