On September 30, Martyrs’ Memorial Day, a ceremony was held today at Tian’anmen Square in Beijing to offer flower baskets in honor of the fallen national heroes.
Chinese President Xi Jinping, other CPC and state leaders, along with representatives from various sectors of society, attended the ceremony. A moment of silence was observed, and flower baskets were presented to the fallen heroes.
This year marks the 80th anniversary of the victories in the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World War against Fascism.
