Orban: Our children will not pay the price for a war that is not ours
Budapest, December 19 (Hibya) – Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said in a statement on the war between Ukraine and Russia: “Our children and grandchildren will not pay the price for a war that is not ours.”
Referring to the use of frozen Russian assets, Prime Minister Orban said: “This idea is now completely invalid; it is closed and off the agenda. Joint borrowing for Ukraine? It is nothing more than grants disguised as loans that fuel the conflict.”
Stating that Hungary, the Czech Republic and Slovakia have successfully remained outside this process, Orban said: “Our children and grandchildren will not pay the price for a war that is not ours.”
