Pakistani Prime Minister Sharif: We are closer to a peace agreement than ever before
Islamabad, June 13 (Hibya) - Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stated that significant progress has been made in the ongoing negotiations and announced that a peace agreement could be finalized within the next 24 hours.
Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that the ongoing negotiations have brought the parties significantly closer to a peace agreement.
In his statement, Sharif said, "We are closer to a peace agreement than ever before," adding that the final text of the agreement is expected to be completed within the next 24 hours.
Thanking the parties for their contributions to the negotiations, Sharif said, "We thank the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran for their constructive and determined approach throughout the negotiations."
Sharif stated that they believe the agreement will provide an important foundation for lasting peace, saying, "We believe that this historic peace agreement will create a strong basis for enduring peace."
