Pakistan's Foreign Minister Dar meets Egyptian Foreign Minister Abdelatty in Istanbul
Istanbul, October 23 (Hibya) - Pakistan's Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar met with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty during the Regional Quartet Ministerial Meeting hosted by Istanbul. The bilateral meeting focused on cooperation between the two countries.
Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar met with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty on the sidelines of the Regional Quartet Ministerial Meeting held in Istanbul.
According to a statement issued by Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two ministers reaffirmed the longstanding ties between Pakistan and Egypt and emphasized the importance of sustained high-level engagement to further strengthen bilateral relations.
During the meeting, the ministers agreed to expand cooperation in various fields, including trade, agriculture, the pharmaceutical industry, transportation, renewable energy, defense and people-to-people exchanges.
They also discussed regional and international developments, particularly the situation in Palestine and the Middle East, and underlined the importance of sustained dialogue and diplomatic efforts.
