Palestine announced that settler attacks on Jerusalem were strongly condemned
Ramallah, May 16 (Hibya) - In a statement issued by the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, it was announced that settler attacks on occupied Jerusalem, carried out under heavy protection by Israeli occupation forces and accompanied by racist and provocative dances, songs, and slogans against the people and the Arab nation, were strongly condemned.
In the statement, it was noted that these attacks, coinciding with the anniversary of the occupation of Jerusalem, constitute a dangerous escalation targeting the occupied city of Jerusalem, its holy sites, and its established legal and historical status.
The Ministry confirmed that these provocative practices, together with the incitement and direct participation of ministers in the extremist occupation government, are part of the occupation’s plan to forcibly impose new realities in occupied Jerusalem.
It was emphasized that this is part of ongoing plans and a war of destruction aimed at Judaizing the city, altering its Arab, Islamic, and Christian identity, and undermining its current historical and legal status, in clear violation of international law and United Nations resolutions.
